The 2015 'X2' Red Wine from Paraduxx is a blend of 92% Cabernet Sauvignon with 8% Zinfandel that was aged for 24 months in largely new oak prior to bottling. The wine slowly emerges with bright red and dark fruits that connect with the milk chocolate and coffee ground aromatics. The palate has a great combination of freshness, depth and salinity. Black tea, mocha, cassis and shades of dark chocolate shavings all combine marvelously on the palate. Seductive and rich in its youth, this beautiful wine should also continue to evolve well over the next decade.
