The 2014 'Cavaso' is a blend of Merlot, Petit Sirah and Cabernet Sauvignon that was aged for eighteen months in French oak prior to bottling. The nose shows a nice aromatic range, from ripe dark cherry to tobacco leaf and dusty terroir that all settle in aromatically. Well-balanced, the wine delivers medium-bodied dark fruit flavors that connect with chocolate and sagebrush tones.
