A melange of 90% Merlot, 8% Cabernet Sauvignon, 1% Cabernet Franc, and 1% Petit Verdot that is aged for 15 months in 40% new French oak with the rest being neutral. It’s gorgeous in the glass with a medium to dark ruby core and a pinkish rim, the bouquet pops with black cherry, blue plum, and dried red rose aromas. On the palate, fresh black plum and Christmas spice dance front and center with secondary characteristics of boysenberry and freshly scraped vanilla bean. 47,000 cases produced.
