I always love the Three Palms Vineyard from Duckhorn year after year, and the 2019 vintage is no exception. Checking in at 92% Merlot, 6% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 1% each of Malbec and Cabernet Franc, this beauty is aged for 18 months in 75% new French oak barrels and showcases a deep ruby core with a neon red rim. It’s a bold and elegant Merlot with ample notes of boysenberry, blue plum, hints of mocha and baking chocolate, and a touch of toasted whole clove. Mouthwatering acidity, rounded silky tannins, and a perfectly balanced finish complete the wine. 4500 cases produced.
