The 2019 "Alessio' is a flat-out delectable wine that is incredibly expressive. If you do a search for "Delicious Napa Valley Wine" this should be at the top of result that shows up. The aromas are intoxicating, black raspberries, dark cherries and creme de cassis are joined by cocoa, spices, loam and hints of cigar box. On the palate this is full-bodied, dense and concentrated, with a lovely round, plush texture that is backed by a a deep, rich core that pumps out loads of beautifully ripe dark fruits and cocoa nibs, which expand through the seductive finish. There is no need for any additional cellaring, as this decadent red is simply delicious and very accessible now. Cabernet, Merlot and Cabernet Franc.
