The 2019 'Byrn' Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from Sugarloaf Vineyard and Tench. It begins with bold characteristics of ripe blackberries, boysenberries and black cherries, which come together with exotic spices, dark chocolate, wild herbs and hints of espresso and fresh-tilled loam all bursting from the glass. On the palate this offers a rich, full-bodied texture, with wonderful opulence and layers of ripe dark fruits that expand effortlessly through the wine. Displaying outstanding concentration, this Cabernet continues to impress as it comes to an end with a long lingering finish that wraps it all up beautifully. While this is already extremely expressive, it also has the potential to offer a drinking window that spans well over a decade long.
