The 2021 Crossbarn Cabernet Sauvignon is composed of 97% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Merlot. It begins with aromas of plums and black cherries that are woven together with sweet baking spices, mocha, and hints of dried sage. On the palate this is full-bodied with a round velvety mouthfeel that is underlined by a lovely touch of acidity taking it into the finish. This is a lovely wine to approach immediately and also should offer a decade long drinking window.
