Sourced from the North Fork Vineyard, which us situated at an elevation of 1,200 feet on a severely sloping rocky site at the western base of Howell Mountain. This Cabernet is dense, layered and full-bodied with beautiful ripe fruit. On the palate this shows wonderful complexity with sweet currant, floral, herbs, espresso, graphite and mineral flavors. The tannins are round, but they also provide an excellent structure for the wine. Everything nicely balanced and finishes long. (Drink 2011-2023) - August, 2011. (JD)
