This Chardonnay was aged on its lees for 18 months and shows a wonderful complex character. There are initial aromatics of hazelnuts, brioche, golden delicious apple and a mushroom character. This leads to flavors of crème brûlée, bananas foster, golden delicious apple and poached pear. The mouthfeel is richly textured with a notable touch of acidity adds balance making this hard to resist. (Best 2016-2021) - November, 2016 (OB)
