The 2016 'Slander' is a deep colored Pinot Noir, which begins with a profile of cherry cola, bramble and wild blackberry aromatics. The texture to this wine is lovely as this reveals sexy flavors reminiscent of candied red cherries, orange rind, rose water and suggestions of pomegranate. Lithe and rich, this should continue to evolve in the cellar over the next decade.
