The 2016 'Abstract' is an intense blend of Grenache, Syrah and Petite Sirah, which was aged for 10 months in 35% new French oak prior to bottling. This begins with aromatics of milk chocolate, sagebrush, black tea and black olive all soaring from the glass. On the palate the texture impresses, as the wine glides effortlessly leaving behing flavors of black tea, blackberry jam, and mocha which persist through the extremely long finish.
