Syrah coming from the River Rock Vineyard in The Rock District, this one is very young and will need a few years in bottle to come together. It captures the Rocks terroir in a fantastic way with all those funky, yet delicious notes of wild blueberry, black plum, wet crushed river rock, grated dark chocolate, pink grapefruit pith, black peppered charcuterie, and crushed black olive. Medium-high levels of acidity, sweet rounded tannins, and a sublime balance complete the wine. Enjoy this one over the next decade or more. Only a small amount of 80 cases were made.
