Aged for 12 months in 25% new French oak barrels, the 2021 Estate Pinot Noir from Lingua Franca showcases a shimmering neon ruby core with a light pink rim in the glass. A complex and interesting nose of freshly cut pomegranate, crushed black raspberries, macerated blueberries, shaved milk chocolate, dusty herbs, and shades of mushroom make you think and ponder this wine. It’s a complex, attractive, and scintillating bottle that will age amazingly well over the next decade or more. 1698 cases produced. Highly recommended.
