Fermented with 25% whole cluster and aged for 12 months in 25% new French barriques, the 2021 The Plow from Lingua Franca is a stunning example of an Oregon Pinot Noir. It displays a medium neon ruby core with a silver rim and gifts notes of boysenberry, fresh black cherry, tilled earth, iodine, and dried herbs. A lovely palate of blue fruit and cinnamon spice coats the tongue, while the sweet tannins and lemony acidity complete the wine. 984 cases made. Highly recommended.
