The 2019 Blanc de Noirs from Lytle Barnett is made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes from the estate’s Anahata Vineyard. A lovely pale lemon core with a silver rim in the glass, the mousse starts a bit aggressive, but with a few minutes in the glass, the bead becomes fine and textured on the palate. Ripe apples, toasted hazelnuts, sweet spice, and baked bread notes are all present and wonderfully integrated. Better in 2024. Only 201 cases were made.
