The 2021 Ojo Brilloso Spirit Hill was fermented with 15% stem inclusion and comes from a block of Pommard clone vines planted in 2014 at 750 feet of elevation. Showcasing a light ruby and brick-colored core with a light pink rim, it starts off with notes of fresh Bing cherries, cranberries, sweet vanilla, crushed green peppercorn, and dried sagebrush. Lean and crisp on the palate, the tannins are sweet and crunchy, and it has ample acidity to push through the red fruit and herbal finish.
