I believe this Cristom Chardonnay from the Royer Vineyard is new to me. Slightly reductive on the nose with a lovely flint note to start, it quickly reveals aromas and flavors of honey-coated pear, grilled citrus, toasted tree nuts, and acacia flower. It delivers terrific acidity and tension throughout while finishing with ample stone fruit and baking spice characteristics on the front and mid-palate.
