Spending 11 months in 29% new French oak, the 2021 Bjornson Pinot Noir boasts a glimmering medium ruby core with a neon purple rim. A nose of fresh Bing cherries, forest breeze, Blood orange zest, and candied plum skin dance around a wet-stone minerality. On the palate, you get a bitter herb and a boysenberry note that sits on the finish. Tannins are sweet and rounded, and the acidity delivers a spice-driven finish. 275 cases were made.
