Glistening medium ruby core with a shimmering bluish rim in the glass, the 2021 Eileen Vineyard Pinot Noir is a masterclass of winemaking. About 45% whole cluster was used during fermentation to give it some added structure and tannin, while the aging takes place in 35% new French oak barrels, which deliver fantastic baking spice tones. The vineyard is at the very top of the hill, where winds are constantly buffeting the vines, creating grapes with very thick skins. Gorgeous aromas of lilac flowers, blue plums, cedary herbs, lemon verbena, and a touch of melted milk chocolate keep you coming back for more.
