The 2021 Eola-Amity Hills Cuvée by Evesham Wood sports a glistening medium ruby core with a fluorescent light purple rim in the glass. Resting for 16 months in about 15% new French oak barrels, it’s a delicious wine that punches way above its weight class. Bountiful notes of Bing cherries, crushed pink peppercorn, tangerine oil, scorched herbs, and sweet vanilla are all present. A lush red-fruited palate combines with sweet rosemary to finish things off. 650 cases were made.
