The 2022 Louise Viognier from Cristom comes from old vines planted in 1993 and 2003 while resting for 6 months in neutral French oak barrels, a stainless steel tank, and a concrete egg. Very expressive on the nose with ripe yellow peach, honeysuckle flowers, acacia, freshly cut hay, and hints of tropical fruit. Wonderfully textured, it ends with ample acidity and a lovely herbal and fruit-forward finish that goes on for minutes. 694 cases made.
