Bree Stock, Master of Wine, is the winemaker for the Artist Block series of wines, and she knocked it out of the park with the 2021 Woo Juice Chardonnay. We kept coming back to this wine over a period of 3 days because it kept getting better and better. 35% new French oak was used for a total of 10 months, and it displays a glowing light to medium lemon core with a silvery rim in the glass. Boisterous notes of freshly sliced pears, crushed volcanic stones, lime zest, and lemony herbs are all presented beautifully. Well-balanced and extremely well made, this wine is highly recommended and my editor’s choice. Just 140 cases produced.
