Another fantastic single-clone Pinot Noir from Hyland, the 2021 Wädenswil gifts bountiful notes of black raspberry, spiced blue plum, toasted clove, lemon oil, and hints of dried mint. It reminds me of walking into a pine forest after a morning rain. Entirely balanced between the yummy acidity, the rounded sweet tannin structure, and the silky mouthfeel. Enjoy this one for the next decade, but it’s absolutely ready to drink now.
