The 2021 Meredith Mitchell Pinot Noir rested for 11 months in 25% new French oak barrels and sports a lovely medium cranberry-ruby core with a neon pink rim. The nose is fantastic and delivers bountiful aromas of black cherry, savory cedary herbs, dusty road, sweet cloves, and crushed boysenberry. The palate is just as gorgeous and brings out the perfect levels of acidity and the fruit and spice-driven finish that goes on for ages. 200 cases were made.
