MARTIN WOODS Pinot Noir, McMinnville ‘Hyland Vineyard’ 2021

Glimmering light to medium ruby core with a bright pink rim in the glass. A scintillating nose of fresh red cherries, white peppercorn, Blood orange, white tea, dusty earth, and lemony herbs. Incredibly well-made, it kept me coming back for more. Tannins are supple and smooth and hit perfectly with the wonderful acidity and clean, racy finish. I adored the saline and crushed stone aspect on the mid-palate. Highly recommended and editor’s choice.
