The 2021 Momtazi Pinot Noir from Nicolas-Jay was aged in 50% new French oak and sports a slightly darker ruby core with a bluish rim than its siblings. Fresh boysenberry, lavender flowers, dried herbs, cinnamon sticks, and wet earth emanate from the glass. Tannins are supple and sweet while maintaining elevated acidity on the finish. 205 cases were produced. Highly recommended.
