The 2021 Aligoté by Andante is a fun surprise with a bright light lemony core and a silver rim. It’s a grape you don’t see too often in the Willamette Valley, and I’m happy that some estates are growing the variety. Gifting yummy notes of freshly cut green apple, lemon peel, dried herbs, and just a touch of sweet allspice, it delivers bountiful acidity and a clean, easy-drinking finish.
