The 2021 Abetina Pinot Noir from Ponzi boasts a neon medium ruby core with a light pink rim in the glass. A dazzling nose of black cherries, crushed wild strawberries, black tea, juniper, and cedary herbs - it’s one of those wines that you keep coming back to experience the aromas before ever taking a sip. The palate is a bit leaner than the nose, with a lemon pitch and bitter herb aspect that falls on the back of the tongue. Supple tannins, mouthwatering acidity, and a lengthy spice-driven finish complete the wine. 255 cases produced.
