The Les Collines Vineyard has become one of the great, terroir-driven sites not only in the Walla Walla Valley AVA, but in the Pacific Northwest. On the nose this Syrah shows the dried herb profile that you would expect from this great vineyard, alongside dark fruits and shades of smoked blood orange. The palate is bright, evoking an inviting mouthfeel marked by flavors of citrus zest that mingle with dark fruits, minerals and smoky undertones. While delicious in its youth, this should also continue to evolve nicely over the course of the next decade.
