A Syrah that is aged in 17% months in French oak barrels and sees 50% whole cluster fermentation. This Syrah isn’t as complex as its brother coming from the Resurgent vineyard, but she can definitely stand on her own. A nose of blue raspberry candy, boysenberry, dried parsley, and black olives swarm the glass. On the palate, you taste flavors of black plums, marionberry, oxblood and it finishes with a savory, saline quality. The tannins are tight and wound up so give this a year or two in bottle before enjoying. 101 cases produced.
