Another stunning blend from the impressive wine making team at The Walls, this melange of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Merlot, 6% Cabernet Franc and a touch of Malbec and Petit Verdot is stunning in the glass visually and on the nose. The mouthfeel is soft and luscious with delicate flavors of black raspberry, blue plum, ground espresso beans, cigar box and freshly ground black pepper. The nose is much the same with additional notes of ground cinnamon, wood ash and a touch of cumin. Give this another few years in bottle for an optimal experience even though it’s gorgeous to drink now, paired with a beautiful smokey ribeye.
