ANDREW JANUIK, Cabernet Sauvignon, Walla Walla Valley ‘Baba Yaga’ 2019

The 2019 Baba Yaga is the second release of this wine that is only available to club members. It’s fresh and lively on the nose - black plum, wild blackberry, dried poultry herbs, a touch of fresh mint and sage, and a hint of old leather. High acidity and high chalky tannins form an herbaceous and mineral finish. As with most of their 2019s, give this a few years to settle down before enjoying. Only 150 cases produced.
