This vintage, the Gramercy Estates blend consists of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Cabernet Franc, and 15% Merlot and ages for 22 months in 34% new French oak. Consistently great vintage after vintage, it boasts aromas and flavors of sugared blackberries, wild huckleberry, blue plum, pencil shavings, creme brulée, fresh pine nuts, and just a hint of dried pineapple. Medium to full-bodied, gorgeous acidity, and firm sweet tannins complete the wine. Just 227 cases made.
