HAZELFERN Chardonnay, Walla Walla Valley ‘Les Collines Vineyard’ 2019

One of the highest elevation vineyards in all of Walla Walla, this Syrah is fermented with 60% whole cluster and aged for 18 months on 30% new French oak. Aromas and flavors of boysenberry, wild fresh sage, toasted black pepper, scorched herbs, black olive tapenade, graphite, walnut shells, and a hint of vanilla. Crisp, clean, and lean on the palate, it is a beautiful old-world style Syrah from Walla Walla Valley.150 cases were made.
