CAYUSE Red Wine, Walla Walla Valley ‘Flying Pig’ 2020

This stunning blend of 46% Cabernet Franc, 37% Merlot, and 17% Cabernet Sauvignon is aged for 18 months in 30% new French oak barrels. The 2020 Flying Pig abounds with sensual aromas and flavors of savory herbs, hints of vanilla bean and sweet clove, and black currant and black raspberry. It has an incredible structure with a perfect balance of tannin and acidity while finishing with a lovely saline and mountain sage note on the mid-palate. A small production of 229 cases was made. Highly recommended.
