TRANCHE Syrah, Walla Walla Valley ‘Blue Mountain Vineyard’ 2019

Coming from the highest vineyard in all of Walla Walla the Blue Mountain Syrah from Tranche is aged for 20 months in 30% new French oak puncheons. Delivering a shimmering deep purple and garnet core with a bright neon pink rim, it reveals a captivating bouquet of wild blueberries, boysenberry compote, bacon fat, crushed green olives, and mocha powder. Full-bodied on the palate, it’s meaty and spicy on the finish, with chalky tannins and mouthwatering acidity taking center stage. Just 332 cases made.
