100% Cabernet, aged in 33% new French oak for 18 months, gifts a medium to dark purple core with a light brick-colored rim. Wonderful Cabernet notes of black currant, blackberry preserves, green pepper, tobacco leaf, and dark chocolate are all present. The finish is a bit bitter but balanced by the lemony acidity and crunchy tannins. Just 72 cases were produced.
