Another stunning Washington Syrah from Sleight of Hand, this time the 2021 Funkedlic that sports those intense funky tones on the notes, which makes this wine aptly named. Meaty tones of brisket combine with olive tapenade flavors alongside notes of baked blue plums, boysenberries, mushroom, and sweet spice. I loved how the wine constantly changed during my tasting, with each sip delivering additional surprises. Highy recommended.
