MARTIN WOODS Cabernet Franc, Walla Walla Valley ‘Oregon’ 2021

Coming from own-rooted vines and spending 14 months in elevage, the 2021 Martin Woods Cabernet Franc is not your typical Franc. A light to medium core with a shimmering ruby red rim in the glass, it’s light, fresh, and playful on the palate. Strawberry fruit melds with notes of dried purple flowers, fresh linens, dried mint, and earth. Tannins are sweet and integrated and pair wonderfully with the lemony acidity. Enjoy this one over the next 7-8 years.
