The beautiful 2021 La Rata is a blend of 60% Grenache, 35% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 5% Syrah that rested in 100% neutral French oak barrels for a total of 21 months in neutral French oak barrels. It gifts a lovely blue-ruby core with a shimmering neon red rim in the glass. Bright red cherry and black raspberry aromas start things off, followed by shades of earthy herbs, dried flowers, and smooches of white grapefruit zest. Lovely tannins coat the mouth while the perfected levels of acidity finish things off. 148 cases were produced.
