With a dark blue-purple core with a shimmering neon purple rim, the 2022 Merlot from Doubleback offers up loads of rich red and black plums, mountain blackberries, lime zest, loads of crushed back pepper, cedary herbs, and shades of tobacco leaves. It’s a decadent, full-bodied Merlot that’s packed with tannins and rich acidity. Better in 2025 and then enjoy for another 15 years or more. Highly recommended.
