The Reynvaan Family Vineyards 'In The Rocks' Vineyard was planted right next to where Christophe Baron planted at Cayuse. While the vineyard has gained a national reputation for great Syrah, this bottling shows how good the Cabernet can be from this esteemed vineyard. The wine opens with intense aromatics of red cherry, red raspberry, wet rock, and cassis. There are flavors of red cherry, red raspberry, cassis, blackberry and wet gravel. The mouthfeel and texture of this wine is absolutely gorgeous. While this bottling is very approachable right now, it should continue to evolve beautifully in the cellar for years to come.(Best 2017-2028) - July, 2016 (OB)
