Showcasing a medium ruby core with a neon rim, this Pinot Noir from the Fender’s Rest Vineyard sees 25% new French oak for 14 months before bottling. Wonderful aromas of spiced black cherry, black pepper, orange rind, and scorched cedary herbs fill the glass. As with most of the 2020s, this one finishes just a bit short but displays beautiful red and blue fruit on the mid-palate with some herbaceousness on the back palate. A great effort from an incredibly difficult vintage. Only 100 cases were crafted. Drink now.
