The 2021 Chardonnay from Toil boasts a medium golden lemon core with a watery rim. It starts off minerally and crisp on the nose with an essence of dried lemon verbena, candied nectarine, and toasted anise seeds and finishes with plenty of Meyer lemon zest notes. Mouthwatering acidity, a slightly oily mouthfeel, and a bitter herb finish on the back palate complete the wine.
