The Seven Hills Syrah from Rockblock Cellars is incredibly young and needs another year or two in the bottle to come together, but with a heavy decant, it can be enjoyed now. Fantastic aromas and flavors of black pepper, blue and black fruit, dusty earth, grapefruit peel, powdered graphite, and bacon fat explode from the glass. It’s fruity, meaty, spicey, and downright delicious. About 250 cases made.
