Resting in 25% new French oak for about 11 months and then in stainless steel for 5 months, the 2021 Cher Amis Chardonnay displays a glistening light lemon core with a silvery rim in the glass. Fetching notes of freshly sliced Bartlet pear, crushed lemons, wet clay, and smooches of ground allspice and wet earth playing second fiddle. A lemony and bitter herb finish completes the wine. Just a little over 150 cases made.
