AUDEANT Pinot Noir, Willamette Valley ‘Nysa Vineyard’ 2021

A glowing medium ruby core with a neon pink rim, the 2021 Nysa Pinot Noir from Audeant comes from 31-year-old own-rooted vines and was aged in 25% new French oak. During fermentation, about ⅔ of the fruit came in as whole clusters, giving it some added structure and tannins that are wonderfully focused. Outstanding aromas of crushed strawberries, blue plum skins, Blood orange, wet autumn leaves, and dried purple potpourri leap from the glass. Tannins are silky smooth and pair perfectly with the lemony acidity on the finish. 110 cases produced.
