Sporting a shimmering light lemon core with a watery rim, the 2021 Elton Vineyard Chardonnay from Lavinea was aged for 10 months in 20% new French oak barrels and then 6 months in stainless steel tank. Meyer lemons, white nectarines, marzipan, honeysuckle flowers, and white tea tones play center stage. Lemony acidity, a medium body, and a lengthy fruit-driven finish complete the wine. 148 cases made.
