The 2021 Hazelfern Vineyard Pinot Noir is aged for just 12 months on 25% new French oak. A medium garnet core with a brickish rim in the glass, it gifts notes of brambleberry, baked cherry pie, sweet cinnamon, toasted walnut shells, and shades of roasted meat. Rich and decadent on the palate, it’s full-bodied with sweet rounded tannins, elegant acidity, and finishes with a white pepper and blue-fruit aspect on the back palate. Highly recommended. Only 100 cases made.
