This is a sensational Merlot from Quilceda Creek. It showcases a beautiful display of fresh vibrant fruit along with a wonderful mineral driven character as it offers inviting aromatics of freshly crushed boysenberries, dark cherries and hints of pomegranate, which are laced with wild herbs, tobacco, gravel and fresh florals that all begin to emerge as this slowly unwinds in the glass. The palate is medium to full-bodied, polished and beautifully balanced with gorgeous acidity that frames the finish. While this is already stunning today, all signs point to an even brighter future for this outstanding Merlot.
